Is it safe to travel in 1st trimester of pregnancy?
We have a family function out of station and im just 9 weeks. Its a 6 hour car journey and im honestly worried thoda. Anyone travelled in early pregnancy? how was it for u?
With twins, my travel was restricted almost immediately! In the first trimester, you are already so exhausted and nauseous that traveling is barely fun. If you absolutely have to, choose the smoothest ride possible and take breaks.
Unless you want to throw up on a random highway, I'd say keep travel minimal! Jokes apart, the first trimester is quite bumpy with all the sickness. Talk to your gynac, take your nausea meds, and carry extra barf bags!
Look, short and smooth travel is mostly fine if you don't have complications. But avoid long, bumpy road trips or travel to remote areas with poor medical facilities. Always carry your medical files and doctor's number with you.
Personally, I would strongly advise against any unnecessary travel in the first trimester. Since I faced a miscarriage before, I became extremely cautious. The first 12 weeks are very delicate, so please ask your doctor before making any plans.
Agar travel karna hi hai toh train ya acchi roads wala option choose karein, local auto ya bumpy roads bilkul avoid karein. Apne saath ghar ka khana aur clean drinking water humesha rakhe taaki bahar ka khake pet kharab na ho.
Bhagwan ka naam lekar agar zaroori ho toh hi yatra karein, warna shuru ke mahino me ghar pe aaram karna hi sabse uttam hai. Apne swasthya ka pura dhyan rakhe aur hamesha positive rahein.
I had to commute for work daily in my first trimester. I just made sure to keep my doctor informed, traveled during non-peak hours to avoid crowds, and took frequent sitting breaks. If it's a leisure trip, better postpone it to the second trimester.
