We have a family function in another city and it's around 7 hrs by car. Im just entering my 4th month and feeling much better now than first trimester. Bit nervous about the long journey, anyone travelled around this time?
4th month is actually considered the best time to travel, the second trimester. I traveled then and felt great, energy was back and nausea gone. Still get a quick okay from ur gynac before booking, especially for long journeys.
For most women 4th month travel is safe, but it really depends on ur pregnancy. I had some bleeding earlier so my doctor told me to avoid long trips. Pls confirm with ur gynac since they know ur history.
I had a work trip in my 4th month and managed totally fine. Just take breaks, walk around, stay hydrated and carry ur meds and reports. Mid pregnancy travel is usually the easiest tbh.
I went to my parents place in my 4th month, journey was fine. My mom just made me carry home food and avoid bumpy road travel. Felt nice and safe, that period is comfortable.
Generally yes its safe, but always check with ur gynac first na. Long flights or rough roads they might advise against depending on ur case. One question to the doctor settles it.
