Woke up with a bad headache today and im 14 weeks. Usually i'd just pop a tablet without thinking but now im scared to take anything. Just want to know if it's generally considered ok, not dosage or anything, will confirm with doc also.

It was the only one my doctor permitted, but I always confirmed before taking even that. Keep your gynac in the loop with any meds. Regular follow up keeps everything safe.
Paracetamol is generally the one doctors allow for fever or pain in pregnancy, but only in the dose your gynac says. I took it for fever both times after asking. Dont mix it with other painkillers though.
My gynac said paracetamol is the preferred pain and fever medicine in pregnancy when needed, at the right dose. She told me to avoid ibuprofen type ones. Still, message your doctor before taking for anything beyond a one off.
