Im in 2nd trimester and waxing is becoming too painful now with the big pet. Was thinking of using veet instead but thoda scared because of the chemicals and smell. Koi used hair removal cream during pregnancy? is it ok or not?
Maine toh pure pregnancy me veet nahi lagaya, ghar pe simple shaving ya threading hi kiya. Skin thodi sensitive ho jati hai na iss time. Apne doctor se bhi ek baar puch lena beta safety ke liye.
I know exactly how much we overthink even the smallest things during these months, it is totally normal to feel scared. Honestly, I avoided Veet because the strong smell made me super anxious and nauseous. If you want to use it, maybe do a patch test first to see if your skin reacts.
Why take risk with strong chemical creams when simple razors or waxing at a clean parlor works? Veet has that strong chemical smell also which can trigger vomiting. Just use a normal razor, it is cheap, quick, and zero tension.
During my first trimester, I felt so conscious about my body but I was also terrified of chemicals. When I used hair removal cream once, I felt a mild burning sensation which I never had before. After that I just stuck to normal shaving, it felt much safer for my baby.
Chemically, hair removal creams are mostly fine but pregnancy hormones change your skin big time. You might suddenly get an allergy from a product you used for years. So if you must use Veet, do a patch test on a small area first and don't leave it on for too long.
Hey! I used Veet throughout my pregnancy and had no issues at all 🌸 but my skin wasn't very sensitive. Just make sure you do a quick patch test first! Pregnancy glow is real, but so is random body hair haha 😂
Oh god, I had the exact same doubt and I searched about it for hours! What if the chemicals get absorbed into the skin? My gynac said it's technically fine but because of hormones our skin can get rashes very easily. Pls do a small test on your leg first before applying it fully, better to be safe.
