Just found out im pregnant, around 6 weeks, and my MIL is telling me to take complete rest and not walk much. But i feel fine and used to do my evening walk daily. is light walking okay this early ya should i really slow down?
I had such terrible morning sickness that even standing was hard. But on better days, a tiny 10-minute slow walk in fresh air actually helped ease my nausea. Just listen to your body and rest if you feel sick.
It depends completely on your pregnancy health. I had early complications and was put on bed rest, so walking was a strict no for me. Definitely get your doctor's green light first.
Walking is beautiful and kept me so calm during those anxious early weeks. Just go slow and don't push yourself too hard. You are doing an amazing job, cherish this precious phase.
A slow walk was my only escape from the sofa, haha! Just don't walk like you are training for a marathon. If you feel tired, just sit down and nap, trust me you'll miss these naps later!
Please check with your doctor first before starting any daily walking routine. After my loss, I was advised complete rest in the first trimester. If you have any spotting or mild cramps, stop walking immediately and contact your gynac.
Beta, a gentle walk in the morning or evening is very good for blood circulation. But don't lift anything heavy and walk very slowly. If you feel tired, have some warm milk or coconut water and rest.
