Our bedroom is on the first floor so i have to climb up and down many times a day. Now in 4th month everyone at ghar is telling me to avoid stairs. Is it really risky or im just overthinking?
Actually, walking on stairs can be a good form of gentle exercise, if your doctor has given you the green light! I continued my yoga and regular walks but always after checking with my gynac if my body condition allowed it. Just ensure you're not out of breath or straining yourself. Take short breaks if you have many steps to climb, okay?
Please be very very careful with this. After my last experience, I was advised by my gynac to avoid anything that could put even a little strain on my body. Every pregnancy is different so it's always best to ask your doctor what's safe *for you*. Better safe than sorry, always.
Oh god, I remember this worry so well! My little one is running around now, and I actually used stairs quite a bit during my pregnancy, especially in the first two trimesters. Just take it super slow, hold the railing properly, and listen to your body always. If you feel any discomfort, stop immediately, haan?
Haanji, generally it's safe unless your doc has told you specifically not to. Bas dheere dheere chalo, don't rush. And hold the railing, it really helps with balance. If you feel dizzy or something, then just stop and rest. Simple hai.
Oh sweetheart, I totally understand why you'd be worried about this, it's so natural to want to do everything perfectly for your baby. Mostly it's fine to walk on stairs, but please, trust your gut feeling. If you ever feel uneasy or tired, then don't push yourself. Your baby's safety is the most important, always.
