I have a desk job, mostly sitting whole day in front of laptop. First pregnancy so honestly thoda nervous na, MIL thinks i should take leave already. Just wanted to hear from working ladies how they managed.
I worked till my eighth month, it was totally manageable. Just take breaks, walk a little, keep snacks and water handy and dont sit too long. Tell your manager if you need small adjustments, most are understanding.
It depends on your pregnancy honestly. I was advised to slow down because of complications, so I reduced my hours. Listen to your body and let your doctor guide how much you can do.
For a normal pregnancy work is fine, in fact staying active helped me. Avoid heavy lifting and long standing. If your job is physically demanding, discuss it with your gynac for the right limits.
