My belly and sometimes my palms have been itching a lot lately, im 28 weeks. I keep telling myself its just the skin stretching but it gets worse at night and i cant sleep properly. should i mention this to my doc or am i overthinking?
Mild itching haan normal. But please note, if its intense itching on palms and soles especially at night, get a liver test done, my doc checked me for something called cholestasis. Dont ignore that kind, ok.
It was normal for me mostly, just stretching skin. But I wont say ignore it fully because itching can sometimes mean something. If its only mild and on belly, moisturise. If widespread or severe, mention to gynac.
I felt itchy on my belly so much as the skin stretched, especially last trimester. A good fragrance free moisturiser helped me a lot. Mild itching is pretty normal as skin grows.
Quite common as the bump grows and skin tightens. Drink enough water, moisturise twice a day, avoid very hot showers. The only itching to flag with your doctor is the severe palm and sole type.
Beta dry skin se khujli hoti hai often. Coconut oil ya malai laga lo lightly, my generation always did that and it soothes. Par agar bahut zyada ho ya rash ke saath ho to doctor ko zaroor dikhana.
Actually yaar belly itching is so common, mera bhi hua tha. I just kept lukewarm baths and lots of cream. But if its driving u mad at night on hands and feet specifically, do tell your doc, thats a different thing.
