My period is a week late and these days my skin feels itchy in patches, never connected the two before. Trying to figure out if its a pregnancy thing or just dry weather. Did anyone notice itching as an early sign?
My doctor told me normal skin itching is usually harmless but warned me that strong itching especially on hands and feet in later pregnancy should be checked because of a liver condition. So she said dont ignore severe itching. Mild dryness she said just moisturise.
Mild itching, especially on the growing belly from stretching skin, is common in pregnancy. Moisturiser helped me a lot. But if you get intense itching on palms and soles, that you must report to your gynac, it needs checking.
