I used to drink green tea daily before, now switched to jasmine flavour one. But not sure if green tea is okay during pregnancy because of caffeine. First trimester chal raha hai. anyone knows?
I drank jasmine green tea occasionally during my second trimester and it was totally fine. Just don't overdo it, keep it to maximum one cup a day to limit caffeine.
Having gone through a miscarriage before, I became extremely cautious about herbal teas. Jasmine green tea does have caffeine and herbs, so it is best to avoid it in the first trimester or check with your doctor first.
Beta, normal home-made ginger or cardamom tea is much safer. Don't drink too many foreign herbal teas during this sensitive time, stick to simple warm water or coconut water.
You can have it, but don't drink it like water lol! It still has caffeine, so limit it to one cup a day. My twins kept me so busy, I barely got time to finish a warm cup anyway!
