My mom sent me a packet of kesar and is telling me to add it in milk daily, says it makes baby fair and healthy. Honestly i dont know if its just an old belief. Anyone here actually taking kesar regularly?
Beta in our homes a pinch of kesar in milk is given, said to be good. But a tiny amount only, not spoonfuls. Everything in moderation, and do mention it to your doctor since each pregnancy is different.
My MIL was very keen on kesar milk daily, lol. I took it but in a very small pinch. Family loves these traditions, just keep it light and let your doctor know what you're having.
The whole gora baby thing is just a belief, but a small pinch now and then is generally considered okay. I wouldnt make it a daily heavy habit. When unsure, your doctor's word is best.
A little kesar in milk is fine, I took it occasionally. The key word is little, dont go overboard thinking more is better. If you have any complication, check with your gynac first.
