Kinnow season is here and I am craving it after meals. It feels refreshing, but acidity also happens sometimes. Did anyone eat kinnow/oranges in pregnancy without issue?
Kinnow? Oh god, I just remember eating whatever I could get my hands on that didn't make me want to barf! 😂 Yes, kinnows are totally fine, full of Vitamin C, good for you. Eat them now while you still have two hands free to peel them. Trust me, soon you'll be trying to eat with one hand while holding a baby!
Kinnows, like most citrus fruits, are generally considered safe and healthy during pregnancy because of their Vitamin C content. However, every pregnancy is so delicate. If you have any concerns about particular foods, or have a sensitive stomach, it's always best to briefly check with your doctor to be absolutely sure.
My pregnancy apps and nutritional guides always listed citrus fruits, including kinnows, as excellent during pregnancy! They're packed with Vitamin C, which is great for immunity, and also provide folate and fiber. They're good for hydration too. Just make sure they are washed well before eating.
Oh, I felt so confused about what to eat and what not to eat during my pregnancy! But kinnows were one fruit I enjoyed without much worry. They're so refreshing and full of vitamins. I think they are totally fine, and they helped me with my thirst. Just don't overdo it, like with anything else.
