I soak kismis overnight and have them in the morning, been doing it since before. My MIL says its very good now but i just want to confirm with others na. Is it fine to continue?
Haan beta kismis is very good, we always gave it to pregnant bahus. Soak few overnight and eat in morning, helps with iron and energy. Just don't eat a whole handful daily, thoda hi, balance everything.
My mother in law gave me soaked kismis and almonds every morning, said it's good for the baby's growth. I had no problem. Moderate quantity na, it's healthy but still sweet.
Yes raisins are safe and good, nice for iron and natural sweetness. I ate soaked ones daily. Just keep the quantity moderate since they're sugary, a small palmful is enough.
Kismis was my little sweet fix when I wanted something sugary without going for junk. Totally safe, just don't finish the whole packet in one sitting like I almost did, haha. A small handful is perfect.
Kismis is fine and nutritious, but a heads up, they're naturally high in sugar. I had GD so I had to limit them. If your sugar is normal, a few soaked ones are lovely. Just watch the amount.
