I make lassi almost daily in summers, sometimes sweet sometimes salty. my MIL says curd at night is not good but doesnt mind lassi in afternoon. just wondering if its actually beneficial during pregnancy or just filling. share ur thoughts.
I had it as salted buttermilk because of my sugar levels, sweet lassi was a no for me. If your sugar is fine sweet lassi occasionally is okay. Curd itself is good for the gut, just mind the sugar.
Lassi and buttermilk were a daily thing for me, so cooling for the stomach. My mother always said curd based drinks help digestion in pregnancy. Just have it fresh and not too sour, and limit sugar if you have any sugar concerns.
