Im about 9 weeks and getting this dull ache in my legs especially at night. Didnt expect leg pain so early honestly, thought thats a later thing. Is it normal at this stage or should i tell doc?
Beta, mild leg pain is very common as your body starts preparing for the baby's weight. Ask someone to gently massage your legs with warm mustard oil, but do not massage too hard. Keep your legs warm and drink a glass of warm milk before sleeping.
I totally understand how tiring those early days are, dear, and yes, leg pain is very common due to hormonal changes. Please put your feet up, ask your husband for a gentle massage, and take lots of rest. You are doing a wonderful job carrying this little life.
Between throwing up all day and dealing with leg cramps, my early pregnancy was so exhausting! I found that drinking lots of water and eating bananas for potassium really helped with the leg pain. Try to stay hydrated, it genuinely makes a difference.
Leg pain in early pregnancy is usually due to mild dehydration or magnesium deficiency as your body's blood volume increases. Drink coconut water daily and do some light stretching before sleeping. If you see any sudden swelling or severe pain in one calf, check with your doctor immediately.
Actually yaar, my legs used to ache like crazy in the first trimester itself! My doctor told me it's because of hormonal changes and blood circulation. I started keeping a pillow under my feet while sleeping, and it actually helped a lot.
