I totally understand how difficult it is to find safe remedies when you aren't feeling well, dear. But please avoid licorice extract as it's not safe for your precious little one. Take warm steam and rest well, sending you lots of love!
Avoid licorice extracts as they are not safe and can cause unnecessary health complications, leading to extra clinic visits and tests. Stick to simple warm salt water gargles which are free, safe, and effective for throat relief.
I read on my pregnancy app that licorice contains glycyrrhizin, which can be harmful to the baby's brain development. It's highly recommended to avoid licorice tea or supplements entirely during pregnancy.
Actually, licorice or mulethi extract is not recommended during pregnancy as it can affect the baby's development. It's best to completely avoid it and stick to safer herbs like ginger or mint if you have a sore throat.
I felt so scared when I accidentally had some herbal tea containing licorice early in my pregnancy. Luckily everything was fine, but my doctor strictly told me to avoid it. Please check ingredients of all herbal teas carefully!
I almost took some mulethi for my cough, but thank god I checked! Licorice is a big no-no during pregnancy. I guess I'll just stick to warm water and endless complaining for my throat relief!
Please avoid licorice extract during these nine months as it can cause complications. During my pregnancy, my doctor monitored all my supplements and herbs closely due to my thyroid. Keep your doctor updated on whatever you consume.
