Saw a little light pinkish spotting a couple days before my period was due and it wasn't like my normal flow at all. Now i'm overthinking whether it could mean something. Anyone had this and turned out positive?
My gynac explained that light implantation spotting can occur, usually pinkish or brown and very brief. But she said it can also have other causes, so it is not a confirmation of pregnancy by itself. A test plus checking with her is the right approach.
Light bleeding is often harmless, but in pregnancy I never assume. If you are bleeding and suspect you are pregnant, please get it checked, especially if it increases or comes with pain. Better to be safe and reassured.
Light spotting around when your period was due can be implantation bleeding, it happened to me and scan showed all fine. I panicked for nothing honestly. Still, I would call your doctor just to be reassured.
