I saw light brown spotting today and got very scared. It is not heavy but I am 6 weeks so every small thing worries me. I am going to message my gynac, but did anyone have this?
Light spotting can be normal in early days, but I would always tell ur doctor whenever there is any bleeding. Especially if it gets heavier, turns red, or comes with cramps, then call them immediately. Mine needed monitoring so I am extra careful.
I know how frightening any spotting feels, I really do. Light spotting can be okay and many go on to have healthy pregnancies. But please dont hesitate to call ur doctor, especially with pain or heavier flow. You deserve to feel reassured.
Light spotting happened to me in both pregnancies early on and both were fine. Common causes are implantation or sensitivity. That said, rest a bit, avoid heavy lifting, and ring ur doctor if it increases or turns bright red.
I panicked and rushed to the hospital at 6 weeks for some brown spotting, turned out completely fine and baby was healthy. So it can be normal, but you did right by asking. Just keep ur doctor in the loop and watch for any change.
I had light pinkish spotting around week 5 and I felt so scared honestly. My gynac said it can be implantation or just normal early spotting and it stopped on its own. But I still got it checked, which gave me peace.
