I have a wedding in the family and obviously want to dress up little bit. But im 4 months pregnant and now suddenly tension ho rahi hai if lipstick is safe or not. Do u all still use makeup?
I am planning to conceive soon and honestly never thought about lipstick! It's crazy how many little things we have to change. Is it because of the lead content in some brands?
My MIL saw me putting lipstick and told me to avoid chemical-heavy makeup during these months. So I mostly stuck to herbal lip tints and home beetroot juice for color. It's just for a few months anyway, so better to be safe.
Normal lipsticks are generally fine if you aren't eating them, haha! But to be safe, I switched to organic, lead-free lip balms and brands during my pregnancy. It kept me happy and feeling beautiful without any worry.

Most commercial lipsticks have very trace amounts of chemicals, but switching to lead-free or organic ones is a safer bet. If you are highly concerned, you can check with your dermatologist or doctor about safe pregnancy cosmetics.
