I love black eyed peas curry and make it often, but someone said go easy on it now. Trying to eat more protein in this trimester. Is lobia actually good to have during pregnancy?
My amma used to make lobia curry for me, very nutritious actually. It kept my energy up. But if u have gas issues just have a smaller portion, otherwise gynac said its fine.
Beta lobia is very good, full of protein and iron. We always ate it at home during pregnancy. Just soak it well and cook properly, dont eat it raw or half cooked.
Lobia is honestly such a cheap and good protein for us. I added it twice a week, way better than buying expensive supplements. Just cook it soft so its easy to digest.
