We have to travel to my parents place by car, its almost 7 hrs one way. Im around 5 months now. A bit worried about sitting that long and the bumpy roads. Anyone did a long trip in pregnancy, how was it?
Depends a lot on your pregnancy honestly. Mine was high risk so doctor told me to avoid long travel completely. Please ask your gynac before booking, dont just go by general advice.
If you must travel, plan it well. Aisle seat so u can get up, stop every couple hours if by car, carry your reports. Avoid very early and very late pregnancy for long trips. Otherwise its manageable.
It can be safe but it really depends on how your pregnancy is going. Keep yourself hydrated, move your legs often, and carry essentials. The best person to clear you for a long journey is your own gynac, so ask them.
Haan its mostly ok in the middle months na. I travelled to my mom's place in 6th month, bas thoda comfortable clothes pehno and dont sit in one position too long. First poochh lo doctor se.
Generally mid pregnancy is the safest time to travel. I did a long train trip in my 5th month, was fine. Take breaks, walk a little, keep water and snacks. But check with your gynac first based on your case.
