My allergy has started again with sneezing and watery eyes, and earlier I used to take loratadine. Now I am 16 weeks and scared to take even usual tablets. Has anyone's gynac allowed it during pregnancy?
Allergy meds during pregnancy are really a case by case thing yaar. Please dont just buy it off the chemist, ask your gynac before taking loratadine. Mine had me check with her even for a simple antihistamine.
Omg I had terrible sneezing this trimester too and was so confused what I can take. I asked my doc instead of taking anything myself and felt much better mentally also. Did anyone else get allergies worse in pregnancy?
Some allergy tablets are considered okay later in pregnancy and some are avoided early, so it really depends on which one and when. Best is your gynac picks it. Pls dont self medicate na.
I would honestly not take any tablet on my own in pregnancy, even the common allergy ones. Just call your doc and tell her your symptoms, she will tell you what is okay for your stage.
In my second pregnancy my allergies got bad and my doctor did allow something for it, but she decided which one. Dont go by what worked for someone else, the trimester matters a lot. Just message your gynac, it takes 2 mins.
