Is lower abdominal pain a symptom of early pregnancy?
My period is 4 days late and Ive been having this mild pulling pain in lower abdomen. Im hoping its a good sign but also a bit nervous. Did anyone else feel this in early days?
Oh god, I remember panicking over every single cramp in my lower abdomen! While mild stretching pain is totally normal, my mind always jumped to the worst. Just to be safe, please call your doctor if the pain is sharp or if there's any spotting, okay?
Listen, mild cramping is actually very common as your uterus starts expanding to make space. But if the pain becomes severe or you see even a little spotting, promise me you'll call your gynac right away. Take some rest today.
Haha, yes! It's either your baby making space or just last night's rajma chawal acting up. In all seriousness, mild cramps are normal, but if it feels like a heavy period cramp, check with your doctor.
It can be normal due to ligament stretching. I used to do very gentle walks to help with mild cramping, but only after my doctor said it was safe. Avoid any yoga or stretches unless your gynac gives the green light.
Yes, it can be a sign! Your body is doing so much work to prepare a cozy home for the baby 🌸. Just keep an eye on it, and if it's too painful, definitely check with your doc!
Mild pain can be normal, but sometimes gas and indigestion also cause lower abdominal cramps. During my pregnancy, I had to be very careful with my diet because of gestational diabetes, which also helped with digestion. Just mention it to your doctor to be absolutely sure.
My mother-in-law told me that mild pulling sensation is just the body preparing for the baby. But she also said we should never ignore strong cramps. If it hurts a lot, definitely get it checked by your doctor.
