Period is 4 days late and my lower back is aching constantly, which doesnt usually happen to me before periods. Trying not to get my hopes up. Did anyone here notice this early on?
It can be, but lower back pain also comes before periods, so it is not a reliable sign alone. Hormones loosen things up early on which causes it. If your period is late along with the ache, do a test, that is the real way to know.
I felt this dull lower back ache before I even knew I was pregnant, thought my period was coming. Turned out it was early pregnancy for me. But honestly I only knew for sure after the test, the ache alone confused me.
Back pain on its own does not confirm anything beta. Wait for the missed period and test to be sure. If the back pain is severe though, get it looked at separately.
