Is lubricant safe while trying to conceive?

We have been trying for a few months and sometimes use lube. now im worried if the regular ones can mess with the chances of conceiving. anyone know which type is okay to use?

When we were trying my doctor mentioned some regular lubricants can affect sperm movement. She said there are fertility friendly ones if needed. Best to ask ur gynac which type is okay for trying.

I had the same doubt while planning. I read that the regular ones may not help the cause actually. Going to ask my doctor next visit to be sure.

Yeah not all are the same, some normal ones are not ideal when trying. There are special conception friendly kinds available. Easiest is to just ask your doctor for a recommendation.
