I tested positive but i also had some light bleeding around the time my period was due, so now im confused. Can u actually get periods while pregnant or is it something else? Planning to ask my doc but wanted ur thoughts.
My gynac explained that a true period isnt possible once pregnant, but light spotting can happen and people confuse it. The bleeding during pregnancy is from other reasons, not menstruation. So if you bleed while pregnant its worth getting checked.
No real period happens, and any bleeding should be shown to your doctor. I had spotting and it turned out needing monitoring. Please dont assume its just a period, call your gynac.
