Look, applying a little Vicks for a blocked nose is perfectly fine. But don't go eating throat lozenges like sweets. If your cold is severe, ask your doctor instead of guessing.
I barely get sleep now with my newborn, but I remember using menthol drops for nausea earlier. It actually helped me a lot. Just don't use it constantly or it causes acidity.
Oh god, I used to overthink every single product like menthol balms or cough drops when I was expecting. It is generally fine to apply a little bit on forehead, but don't eat menthol candies too much. Better safe than sorry!
Currently in my 3rd trimester and my nose is permanently blocked, so using mild menthol balm to sleep. Baby is kicking like crazy anyway, so seems all good! Tired of this phase now.
Had terrible cold while managing office work during my 2nd trimester. My gynac said a mild menthol rub is totally fine to use. Don't waste time researching, just apply some and sleep.
Honestly instead of spending on those special pregnancy-safe menthol creams, just do normal steam inhalation. Save that money for upcoming hospital delivery charges and tests. Everyday costs are so high anyway.
