My mom keeps telling me to add methi dana in my food, says its good. But im 3 months along and a bit unsure about taking it during pregnancy. Anyone know if its fine?
I used to hear methi helps sugar, but in pregnancy please dont self treat with it. Normal cooking amount is fine. For anything more, especially if u have sugar issues, run it by your doctor first.
We use methi in cooking all the time and its fine in those small quantities ma. As a special remedy though, better to ask your doctor. Family tips are nice but doc knows your body best.
A little methi in your normal cooking is generally fine, we all eat it. But taking methi dana in large amounts or as a remedy is different, that u should check with your doctor first. Small in food, ok. Big doses, ask.
Beta in everyday sabzi or tadka methi is no problem, our generations ate it always. But dont start having big spoons of methi water thinking it helps, in pregnancy thats best confirmed with your gynac. Moderation is key.
