Doc mentioned this for a small infection but I forgot to ask if its fully safe in pregnancy. Im 16 weeks now. Thoda hesitant to use anything without being sure. Anyone used it during pregnancy?
I had a mild yeast infection in my second trimester and my gynac prescribed a safe cream, but she warned me never to use OTC medicines. It's very common to get infections, so don't worry. Just let your doctor suggest the right, safe brand for your baby's health.
I just delivered my baby recently and had this same issue during my 7th month. My doctor did a quick swab test and gave me a specific cream that was totally safe for the baby. Please don't use any miconazole or other creams without your doctor prescribing them first.
Looking back, I realize how fragile the pregnancy phase is and why we shouldn't self-medicate for anything. Even for a simple rash or itch, it's best to send a quick WhatsApp to your gynac and ask. They will give you the exact safe dosage and peace of mind.
Since pregnancy is such a precious and delicate time, please be very careful about putting any creams or medicines inside. It's always best to call your doctor's clinic and double-check with them. Sending you lots of love and hoping you get relief soon.
