Honestly i never liked milk and now it makes me feel more nauseous. Everyone at home insists i drink 2 glasses daily. Is it really that necessary or can i get the same from other things? pls share.
Milk helps but if it doesnt suit you, dont force it. I switched to curd and paneer in one pregnancy because milk gave me acidity. Just make sure your calcium is covered.
My doc said milk is a great source of calcium and protein but it is not the only way, you can get calcium from curd, paneer, ragi and leafy greens too. So if you cant tolerate plain milk, there are options. The point is enough calcium, not milk specifically.
At home they insisted on a glass of milk daily, often with a little saffron in later months. I had curd and ragi too. My doctor said as long as I get my calcium, milk is good but not compulsory.
