I have infection and doctor from clinic mentioned Monocef, but I am pregnant so I want to double check with my gynac. I get scared with antibiotics now. Has anyone taken it during pregnancy after prescription?
My mother also told me not to touch any tablet without asking. For antibiotics especially, let your gynac decide. They will give the safe option if you actually need it.
This is an antibiotic na, not something to decide yourself. My doc gave me something similar for a urine infection and it was fine, but only because she chose it. Ring your gynac and ask.
Honestly only your gynac can say if its safe for you, because it depends on your trimester and why you need it. Whatever you do, dont self medicine. A quick call to the clinic will clear this.
I wont say yes or no because im not a doc and it really depends. When i had an infection my gynac picked a safe one for me herself. Better to message your doctor with the exact name and dose.
Pls dont take any antibiotic on your own in pregnancy. I was given an injection like this during my pregnancy but only because my gynac prescribed it for an infection. Call your doctor before taking anything, really.
