My acidity has been horrible these days, mostly at night. Someone at home had this syrup and suggested it but i dont want to take anything without knowing if its okay in pregnancy. Planning to ask my gynac but thought id check here too.
For mild acidity beta, a little cold milk or saunf after food used to help me. But medicine in pregnancy, even a syrup, only when doctor says. Dont take from the medical shop directly.
I was extra careful with everything I put in my body during pregnancy. For acidity I changed timing of meals and avoided spicy late at night, that helped a lot. Any actual medicine I always cleared with my doctor first, please do the same.
I wont say safe or not safe because that's really for your doctor to decide. I had bad acidity in pregnancy and my gynac did approve an antacid for me, but she chose which one. Pls just call yours before taking, even simple looking syrups.
Dont take any syrup on your own in pregnancy yaar, even antacids. Ask your gynac, they usually have a preferred one they're comfortable giving. For me chewing on cold milk and small meals helped the acidity without medicine most days.
