I love mushroom sabzi and i had it twice this week, now im first trimester and got a little scared if its okay. MIL said avoid but didnt say why. Anyone ate mushrooms early on?
Mushrooms have good nutrients, fully cooked ones are generally safe. Stick to the common store variety and avoid raw. If u have any allergy history just confirm with ur gynac.
Cooked mushroom is fine, I ate it in both pregnancies. Just wash well and cook it properly, no raw. Buy the regular button mushrooms, avoid any wild ones.
Mushroom is a cheap protein actually, good when u dont want to spend much. Just clean it properly, it traps a lot of dirt. Cook well and its a nice addition to early pregnancy diet.
