Its summer and muskmelon is everywhere, I love it. But heard some fruits should be limited in pregnancy so now im not sure. Im 18 weeks. Can I have it daily or only sometimes?
It's healthy and hydrating, I had it too. Just a small note if you have sugar issues like I did, melons are sweet so keep the portion moderate. Otherwise it's a refreshing safe choice.
It's a cheap seasonal fruit that does a lot of good, I leaned on it because it filled me up and kept me cool without costing much. Buy whole and cut at home, the pre cut ones are pricier and less fresh anyway.
Yes it's good, lots of water, folate and vitamins. The main thing is hygiene, wash the outside before cutting and eat it fresh, dont eat pre cut from outside vendors. Otherwise great fruit for pregnancy.
Muskmelon is lovely in pregnancy, so cooling and full of water for the summer months. My family always kept it in season for me. Just cut it fresh and eat soon, dont keep cut melon out for long as it spoils fast.
