Doc gave me niftas for a urine infection last week but i didnt tell her i might be pregnant at that time. Now im worried na. Will check again with her but wanted to ask if anyone took it during pregnancy?
Haha, is anything truly 'safe' when you're pregnant? Jokes aside, the one thing I learned is to never, ever take any meds without asking my gynac first. Even a vitamin D tab I asked them about. So for Niftas, please just call your doctor, don't risk it!
I totally get why you're asking this, I used to overthink every single thing I put into my body during pregnancy. It's good you're asking! But please, this isn't something for forum advice. Call your gynac today and get a clear answer from them. It will give you so much peace of mind.
Oh, medications during pregnancy are so confusing and scary, right? I'm also in my second trimester and I always double check everything. For something like Niftas, please don't rely on online advice. You must, must ask your gynac directly if it's safe for you. Every pregnancy is different.
Sun meri behen, pregnancy mein koi bhi dawaai bina doctor se puche mat lena, haan? Chahe woh kitni bhi common lagti ho. Har cheez apne gynac ko batao aur unse confirm karo. Unko hi pata hai tumhari body aur baby ke liye kya safe hai.
Oh lord, with twins, I was practically on a no-pill diet unless absolutely necessary. It's like, for one baby you're careful, for two, you're paranoid! Seriously though, any medicine name, whether Niftas or anything else, just ask your doctor. They'll know if it's safe for you and your little one(s).
Pregnancy itself is hard enough, with all the morning sickness and discomforts. Adding worries about medicines is even worse. My only advice is to literally run any medication by your doctor first. They know your medical history and what's best for you and the baby, so give your gynac a call.
Any medicine, really anything you plan to take, needs to be cleared by your obstetrician. At my hospital, they always told me to check with them even for a small headache pill. So, for Niftas, definitely call your gynac's office or speak to them directly. They are the best people to advise you.
