We are a non veg family but im 7 weeks and getting a little nervous about eating chicken and eggs right now. Saas says avoid karo but I dont know. Anyone continued non veg in early pregnancy?
I think well-cooked chicken and eggs are good for protein, but maybe eat in small portions. I am trying to conceive and reading up a lot, but clean cooking is most important.
Non-veg is highly nutritious, but please ask your doctor about what fish to avoid. I had some severe digestion issues early on, so my gynac advised me to avoid outside non-veg completely to prevent infections.
My 3-month-old barely lets me sleep, but let me tell you, eggs saved my life in the first trimester. Just make sure whatever non-veg you eat is fully cooked, don't eat anything half-cooked or raw unless you want a stomach upset.
Actually yaar, well-cooked chicken and eggs are super good for protein early on. Just avoid raw sushi or semi-cooked stuff because of bacteria, ghar ka cooked chicken is the best option.
Honestly, I can't give medical advice, but for me, I couldn't even stand the smell of chicken in my first trimester. I just stuck to fully boiled eggs whenever I could digest them, it worked well for me.
