I had this tablet at home from before and was about to take it for a small stomach issue, then realised im pregnant now (8 weeks). Got worried and stopped. I'll ask my gynac before taking anything but wanted to know if anyone faced this.
I would not take any antibiotic without my doctor okaying it during pregnancy. There are pregnancy safe options for infections. Please check with your gynac before you take this.
Please dont take this on your own, that group of antibiotics is usually avoided in pregnancy. When I had a urine infection my gynac switched me to a safer one. Always call your doctor before taking any antibiotic now.
This one is generally not the first choice for pregnant women. Dont self medicate na, just ring your gynac and she will give you a safe alternative. They have specific antibiotics for pregnancy.
