Hi everyone, I've had a couple of nosebleeds recently and my period is also a bit late. I was wondering if nose bleeding can actually be an early sign of pregnancy? Has anyone else experienced this?
Haha, pregnancy makes our bodies do the weirdest things! I felt like a boxer in a ring sometimes with those random nosebleeds. It's normal but do check with your doctor so you don't feel like you are in a daily action movie.
During my pregnancy, my nose used to bleed a lot, and even post my C-section I had to be very careful because of dry weather. It's mostly just increased blood flow. Just rest as much as you can and keep your gynac in loop.
OMG yes, this happened to me when I was binging on spicy biryani and mangoes! I thought it was the heat from all the food I was craving. Just keep yourself hydrated and maybe don't go too crazy on spicy stuff like me.
I totally understand how scary it feels to see blood like that, dear. Sending you a big hug, pls don't panic. It can happen due to extra blood circulation in our bodies, but just talk to your doctor once to be completely at peace.
I had this during my second trimester, especially in the mornings. It's just one of those weird pregnancy things that no one prepares you for. Keep a humidifier in your room and try not to blow your nose too hard, it really helps.
Actually, our blood vessels expand during pregnancy due to hormones, which puts pressure on the delicate vessels in the nose. My doctor told me it's normal nosebleeds because of extra blood volume. Just apply some ice on the bridge of your nose and don't tilt your head back, but definitely check with your doctor if it doesn't stop.
Oh god, I completely forgot about the nosebleeds amidst all this sleeplessness with my newborn! Yes, it happened to me too, probably because my body was working overtime. Just keep some tissues handy and check with your doctor when u get a chance.
Honestly, since I had a high-risk pregnancy, any kind of bleeding made me super anxious. Please don't ignore it and call your gynac right away to rule out high BP or anything else. It's always better to be safe than sorry.
After a very long IVF journey, every small symptom used to make my heart race. Nosebleeds can be common due to all the hormonal changes and extra blood, but please gently discuss this with your specialist. They will guide you best and keep your mind at ease.
My mother told me it happens because of body heat, and suggested putting a drop of coconut oil. But honestly, I got scared and asked my gynac first. She said increased blood flow in pregnancy can cause it and it's quite common, but better to let your doc know once.
Yaar, initially even I got super freaked out when my nose bled suddenly. Actually it is quite common during these months because of hormonal changes, but pls don't take stress. Just tell your gynac during the next visit so she can confirm everything is fine.
