Mosquitoes are crazy at my ghar these days and im 5 months pregnant. I usually apply odomos but now im scared if its ok to use on skin during this time. Anyone used it safely? planning to ask my gynac too but wanted to hear from u all.
I totally panicked about Odomos too! I read everything online and got super confused. But my gynac actually said it's generally considered safe in normal use, just don't go bathing in it, obviously. She said to apply it on clothes rather than directly on skin if I was worried. So yes, it's fine, don't overthink.
For any product, especially something you apply on your skin, during pregnancy, it’s best to get a clear go-ahead from your doctor at a reputed hospital. My gynecologist specifically reviewed all my products. She advised Odomos is fine but to use it sparingly and avoid direct application on very sensitive areas, and to use only if absolutely necessary. Their expert opinion is paramount.
Honestly, during pregnancy, my doc just said to avoid anything strong or chemical if possible. Odomos has DEET, which some docs say is fine in low concentrations but others advise against. I mostly used natural alternatives like citronella oil or just tried to stay indoors during peak mosquito hours. Better to be safe, especially when busy, you don't want to worry.
It's always good to be careful during pregnancy. For Odomos, many doctors say it is generally safe when used as directed, but if you are concerned, you can always ask your own doctor directly.
My saas was like 'ye sab angrezi dawaiyaan mat lagao,' but mosquitoes are a big problem, especially with dengue risk. My gynac said Odomos is okay to use. She told me to use it, but not too much, and wash it off once inside. So I just followed her advice, it's better than getting sick from mosquito bites.
