The acidity is killing me at night, i was taking omeprazole earlier for gastric. Now im pregnant and scared to take anything without asking. Planning to confirm with my gynac but wanted to know if anyone was advised this during pregnancy?
For mild acidity I tried cold milk and smaller meals first which worked okay. But for actual medicine please dont guess, ask your doctor. They will give the safe option if you really need it.
Please dont take any acidity medicine on your own during pregnancy, even common ones. My doctor prescribed something specific for my heartburn after checking me. Just call your gynac and ask, they will tell you whats safe for you.
Some acidity medicines are prescribed in pregnancy but only your doctor should decide that. I never took anything without asking mine. For the heartburn meanwhile, small meals and not lying down after eating helped me.
