My nausea is too much in this first tri, cant even keep water down some days. Someone in family suggested this but I dont want to take anything without knowing. Will def confirm with my gynac but wanted to hear from u all first.
Haha, honestly Ondem 4 is like a magic wand for us pregnant ladies who vomit at the smell of tea! It is very commonly given by doctors for nausea, so don't worry. Just don't pop it like candy, let your doc decide the dose and timing!
Uff, I still remember taking Ondem in my first trimester just to be able to digest one single roti! I am in my third trimester now and thankfully past that phase, but yes, it is safe because my gynac prescribed it to me. Just make sure you ask your doctor before taking it, don't take it self-medicated.
Mujhe bhi bahut zyada ulti hoti thi starting mein, tab mere doctor ne mujhe Ondem 4 likh kar di thi. Isse bahut araam milta hai aur baby ko koi nuksan nahi hota. Par aap ek baar apne doctor se pooch kar hi shuru karna, khud se medicine lena theek nahi hota pregnancy mein.
Ondem 4 was like my best friend during my twin pregnancy, otherwise I would have been living in the bathroom! But please don't start it on your own, always confirm with your gynac first. My doctor had prescribed it specifically for my severe morning sickness, so it is safe if they advise it.
Ondansetron, which is Ondem, is widely used and generally considered safe for pregnancy nausea, especially when you can't keep food down. However, since it can sometimes cause mild constipation, it's best to let your gynac evaluate if you really need it and prescribe the right frequency.
