My nausea has been horrible and someone in family mentioned ondem for vomiting. I havent taken anything yet, dont wanna self medicate. Just wanted to know if anyone was prescribed this by their gynac in pregnancy? will ask my doctor before taking ofcourse.
I had terrible sickness and my doctor did prescribe something for it, but only after she checked me. I would never have taken it without her saying so. If your nausea is that bad, call your gynac, they will give the right thing.
Please dont take any anti nausea tablet on your own, even common ones. My doctor was the one who decided what was safe for my vomiting. Always ask your gynac before taking it, the dose and need depend on your case.
This is a prescription medicine, so it should only be taken when the doctor advises it for you. Self medicating in pregnancy is a no. If the vomiting is severe enough that you are reaching for tablets, thats a sign to call your doctor.
