They found a small cyst during my first scan and now i cant stop overthinking. Doc said wait and watch but the word cyst itself is scaring me. Did anyone have this and everything turned out fine?
I had a cyst noticed early in pregnancy and my gynac monitored it with scans, most are harmless and resolve on their own. But it really depends on the size and type, so dont panic. Please let your doctor track it, only some need intervention.
When they told me I had a cyst I googled for hours and scared myself silly, please dont do that. My doctor explained most are totally fine and it resolved. Just trust your gynac and skip the late night googling.
With my PCOS background I had cysts too and my gynac kept an eye on them during pregnancy. Many are simple and not dangerous at all. I wouldnt assume the worst, just follow your doctor's scans and advice.
