Been getting this weird soreness around my belly button and im also expecting my period soon. Cant tell if im reading too much into it. Has anyone felt belly button pain as an early sign?
Not really an early sign of pregnancy. Belly button discomfort usually comes later when the uterus grows and skin stretches. For confirming pregnancy, a missed period and a test are what you need, not belly button pain.
Mild stretching pain can be normal as you grow, but if you have sharp or constant belly pain, please dont assume, get it checked. Pain isn't a reliable pregnancy indicator, and any strong pain deserves a doctor's look.
I did get this but only later in pregnancy as my belly stretched, it felt weird and a bit sore around the navel. Early on though, I felt nothing there. So I wouldn't read it as a pregnancy sign by itself.
I started getting this around my navel in 2nd trimester and got a bit anxious. Doctor said it's just skin and muscle stretching. Did anyone else feel that tugging near the belly button?
