I have a bad headache since morning and usually i just pop a paracetamol but now im 6 weeks and scared to take anything. Dont want to harm the baby at such an early stage na. Did your doctor allow it in early weeks?
Dont take any tablet, even a common one, without asking your gynac first in early pregnancy. If u have fever or pain, ring them, they will guide u safely. Self medicating is the part I would really avoid.
My doctor said paracetamol is usually the preferred option for fever or pain in pregnancy when needed, but only as advised and not regularly. She said avoid taking it casually for every little thing. Best to confirm with your own doctor for the dose.
Its commonly the medicine doctors okay for fever in pregnancy dear, but please let your gynac confirm before u take it. Just one call and they will tell u whats fine for u.
When I had fever in early pregnancy my gynac is the one who told me paracetamol was okay and what amount. I didnt take it on my own. Pls call your doctor before taking it, they will tell u the right dose.
It is generally the one doctors allow over other painkillers, but never decide the dose yourself. Both pregnancies my gynac told me when and how much. A quick call to your doctor and you will know for sure.
