I was diagnosed with pcos two years back and now we are planning a baby. Honestly im a bit scared if it will cause problems. Any of you conceived with pcos, pls share ur experience.
It's not harmful in a scary way, it just needs management. Keep your weight, sugar and diet in check and follow your gynac. My friend with PCOS has two kids, so dont let the word scare you too much.
Don't panic beta. PCOS just means your pregnancy may be watched a bit more closely, that's all. Eat well, keep active if doctor allows, and go for your checkups. Lots of PCOS women deliver perfectly healthy babies.
I have PCOS and I did conceive and have my baby, so please dont lose hope. It can make conceiving take longer and need a bit more monitoring during pregnancy, but with a good doctor it's very manageable. Just stay regular with checkups.
My doctor explained PCOS can slightly raise chances of things like gestational diabetes or high BP, so they just monitor more carefully. It's not a blanket harm, more like extra attention needed. Regular follow ups make a big difference.
PCOS made my journey a little harder and I get how worrying it feels. It does need closer care, like watching sugar and BP, but so many women with PCOS have healthy babies. Be gentle with yourself and stay close to your gynac.
