Got diagnosed with pcos last year and irregular periods are my normal now. We want to start a family soon and im honestly scared it will be very hard for me. Anyone here conceived with pcos? Need some positivity.
My doctor explained PCOS mainly affects regular ovulation, which is why timing gets tricky. With lifestyle changes and sometimes medication to help ovulation, many conceive. Definitely worth working closely with a gynac on a plan.
It can make the path a bit longer for some, but it's far from a closed door. Be patient with yourself and your body. A good fertility doctor can really help map out the right support for you.
I totally understand the worry this brings, PCOS can feel so discouraging. But please hold on to hope, so many of us got there. You're not alone in this.
PCOS can make ovulation irregular so it sometimes takes longer, but plenty of us with PCOS do conceive, me included. Managing weight, diet and following the gynac's plan helped me a lot. Please dont lose hope, just get proper guidance.
