I love chana and peanuts as evening snack and have been eating them through my pregnancy. Now someone scared me saying peanuts can cause allergy to the baby later. Is that even true? pls share if u ate them safely.
Yes peanuts are safe and a good protein source, unless u personally have a peanut allergy. I ate moongfali and peanut chutney all through both pregnancies, no issue.
My gynac said peanuts are fine and even good for protein and folate, the old idea that u must avoid them is outdated now. Only skip if u r allergic yourself. Roasted or boiled, both okay in moderation.
Arre haan peanuts are totally fine yaar. Actually I used to crave warm moongfali in winters all the time. Just dont go overboard since they're oily. No allergy means no problem.
Peanuts were actually a nice snack for me, they didnt spike my sugar like other stuff. Just go easy on the salted or fried versions. Plain roasted is best, and avoid if allergic.
