My MIL adds kali mirch in almost everything, dal, soup sab me. I'm 12 weeks and just wondering if regular pepper is okay or should I keep it light. Is this normal to eat na or better to avoid?
I had a very sensitive pregnancy with bed rest, so I strictly followed my dietitian's list. Best is to check with your gynac once if u are having any stomach irritation.
I have two kids and used black pepper in everything from soups to salads. It actually helps with digestion, just avoid too much spicy food if u have severe heartburn.
Honestly black pepper has piperine which helps in nutrient absorption. My doc told me it's totally safe in normal food amounts, just avoid taking any concentrated pepper supplements.
Haha don't worry, adding a pinch of pepper on your eggs won't make the baby spicy! It's totally fine, just don't go full hot wings challenge right now.
Just had my delivery recently. During my third trimester, hot vegetable soup with lots of pepper really helped my throat and digestion, so go ahead safely.
Since I had PCOS, I was extra careful about inflammation and food. I kept pepper intake quite moderate because too much of it sometimes triggered my acidity, so see what suits u.
I am still trying to conceive, but my bhabhi told me pepper is fine in daily cooking. She said it even helps with early morning sickness sometimes when added to light soups.
Everything is good in moderation dear, keep a positive mind and eat mindfully. God has made our bodies strong, simple home spices like pepper are fine, just listen to your body.
Actually black pepper is so much safer than red pepper powder, yaar. I used to put it on my boiled eggs and sweet potato chaat, taste was also nice and no stomach burning.
Haan na, black pepper is actually better than red chili powder during these months. Thoda acidity happens but it's generally very safe if u use small quantity.
