I used to drink cold drink almost daily before and now im 3 months pregnant. Suddenly feeling guilty about all that caffeine and sugar. Is occasional pepsi really that bad or am i overthinking it?
I craved cola so badly some days, ngl. I allowed myself a tiny bit rarely and felt fine. But honestly I felt better switching to lime soda most of the time.
With my sugar issues I had to fully cut out cold drinks like Pepsi. Even otherwise the sugar load is not great in pregnancy. Please be careful, specially if your sugar is borderline.
Soft drinks like Pepsi have caffeine and tons of sugar, so better to mostly avoid. One sip on a craving day wont harm, but dont make it a habit. Fresh juice or coconut water is way better yaar.
